You will only be able to add your clients to a DLP if they have a unique email address, the reason for this is so that the clients are each able to sign the documents the DLP automatically generates.
If your client is unable to provide an email address (and therefore create a HIPLA account) then they will need to inform their conveyancer that the documents will still need to be signed by Lee manually once received.

Yes, both you and your clients can amend any part of a DLP once it is complete. In order for you to make changes, you will need to click the edit button on the DLP, as shown below:

You can then click to expand the section you want to edit, by clicking the chevron icon, as shown below:

Not automatically. If a client opens an older DLP, they will be given the option to “upgrade” their DLP. If they click this, it will transfer all the information into the new format. They will have to then complete any missing information that the new format requires.
